Amazon, the world’s largest online retailer, is offering the Mr. Clean AutoDry Pro Series Bonus Kit for only $11.35. This is a great savings as the original price is north of $30.
Deal Review: As you might expect this product cleans very well for consumers – but there is some doubt in the consumer community. Most reviewers who purchased the Mr. Clean AutoDry were quite pleased with the result. But there was a lower expected rate – averaging 3.5/5 star rating. Some user reviews were quite happy and report good things, but others had this to say, “This product is horrible, and don’t get me wrong it is good the first few times you use it but prolonged use will cause damage to your car. After i used this about three times the fourth time cause peeling of paint on my hood and trunk lid and now I am in a battle with Mr. Clean to get my money back.” A lot of negative reviews claimed that product was flimsy and breaks too easily.
Positive Reviews had this to say, “The product, overall, works almost as good as its advertized. The soap gets used up quicker than I anticipated and while the car does “Begin” to dry spot free, it takes longer to dry than I expected. Also, I have a continual problem with the hose connection leaking. Setting these minor things aside, its a decent product and I will continue to use it.”
Is 11.35 a Bargain Price?
After perusing the reviews I found that some were able to pick up the same product at “bargain stores” for $4 and others were able to buy off of woot.com for even less. This doesn’t seem too alarming considering the product sells for just $8 more, and still $12 is a real discount – but it is not as good as it seems.
