Dirt Devil M084505

Dirt Devil M084505 is another lightweight economical vacuum from Dirt Devil. It is a standard bagless, upright system with an attached hose, tools and a HEPA filter. We had to analyze this vacuum with limited reviews, but we found this vacuum to be over priced.

Consensus: It has a lot of desirable features, but the performance just doesn’t match the price point. There are lot of bargain vacuums for considerably less. Overall the Dirt Devil M084505 is a poor buy.

Dirt Devil M084505 Overall Rating: ★★½☆☆

Dirt Devil M084505 Review Analysis:

Features: It comes with an HEPA filter that removes 100 percent of allergens, dust among other things. It has a 2-year warranty, comes with cleaning attachments, and weighs 14-pounds.

Performance: Some user reviews complained about bad packaging which resulted in a dented vacuum. Others complained about the poorly designed vacuum. Which on occasions kick up dust every time the motor started. Others say the vacuum would shut off unexpectedly.

As far as suction goes, our only take was that it can lose suction.

Value: Our take on user reviews was that this Dirt Devil was about $30 over priced, most users weren’t pleased with this vacuum as a purchase.

Dirt Devil M084505 Reviews:

“Vacuum is very poor quality, considering I have only had it 5 months, before it started repeatedly shutting off on me. Not even managing to vacuum a hallway before it shut off on me, I am frustrated and want a replacement or it fixed. Since there is a 1 year warranty, I call up to find the nearest Warranty Shop. ” – User Review

I purchased this product for my son who is away in college, he has found the Dirt Devil Quick Vac very easy to use and maneuver, so much so that his friends have loved to borrow it from him. I find the Dirt Devil Quick Vac reasonably priced for college students, easy to take along to campus dorm and it is easy to store away.” – User Review

I bought this vacuum at Kmart two weeks ago and it is going back to the store. The hole clogs very easily and the vacuum lost suction after 3 uses. The dirt cup is very small even though the filter isn’t inside the cup. Don’t waste your money on this one. Spend a little more and get something much better!” – User Review
