Dirt Devil M120000 Review: Spinnergy Upright (Dyson Clone)

July 1, 2009

The Dirt Devil M120000 is an upright vacuum, with cyclonic suction, which is trying to compete/imitate with Dyson’s infamous vacuum cleaners.

Dirt Devil M120000 Spinnergy Review Analysis:

dirtdevil-m120000-reviewFeatures: It has cyclonic suction technology, a bagless canister. Its power-cord reaches 30-feet and it has several on-board crevice cleaning tools, as well as a cleaning hose.

  • 3- Year Warranty.

Performance: Reviews were very-mixed for its performance. Which users either raved about “Best vacuum ever!”  or said it was worthless. While users are mixed, its easy to conclude the performance is inconsistent for reviews across the board. That being said, some users reported favorable performance/suction on carpets, yet reviewers did not praise bare floors.

Value: Like performance users were split across the board; some said you get the Dyson technology for the Dirt Devil price, but that doesn’t convience us. We suppose this vacuum does a satisfactorily job on carpets, yet cannot come close to Dyson’s overall rating and value.

Conclusion: We assume the Dirt Devil M120000, being 1/4 the price of a Dyson, may attract a lot of attention from consumers, yet the lack of overall praise and positive reviews makes it nothing special.

Dirt Devil M120000 Overall Rating: ★★★☆☆

Dirt Devil M120000 Reviews:

“I’ve owned a lot of vacuum cleaners in my time. This Dirt Devil Model 110020 is hands down the worst.
It drops what it sucks up. When I use it on the carpet I must do the vacuuming again with another vacuum cleaner.” – User Review

“I am well pleased with this model. The suction seems to be adequate for both my carpet and hard wood floors. The dust area is easy to empty, but pet hair or carpet fuzz still required manually pulling from the canister if goes into the upper section.” – User Review
