The problem is when the belt eventually stretches and needs replacing. It's not a $10.00 fit-it-yourself job. I had to pay $150.00 at the local vacuum repair shop because you can't just replace the belt. The whole clutch mechanism has to be replaced. Poor design! Does not "work properly."
