Eureka Capture 8852DVZ Upright Vacuum: Pet Owner, Bagless Upright

Eureka 8852 DVZ Bagless Upright

One of the first things I’ve noticed about this vacuum is its design. Though quite refreshing, from some of Eureka’s previous models, does Eureka Capture 8852DVZ Upright Vacuum hold up to consumer reviews?

The machine is best for pet owners who have a lot of excess shedding pets. It is reasonably priced, at rough $150, which means it is in the mid-range of upright vacuums.

The Eureka Capture 8852DVZ has a lot of wanted features in this eye appealing upright. It is bagless and it has the Odor Eliminating Arm & Hammer brand powder which goes right into the machine’s HEPA filter. A nice little touch that will make the difference for pet owners.

The on/off Brushroll is a good for people who want to vacuum upholstery or the stairs.  It has a unique Telescopic Self-Cleaning Duster that attracts dust to it – making cleaning a breeze.  The HEPA filtration captures 99.97% of dust, allergens and pet dander for a cleaner home. Another pretty cool tool is the Power Paw with Riser Visor, which can pretty easily remove dust, dirt and pet hair from upholstery backs and stair risers.

Now reviewing the cons of the vacuum, its weight is 24 pounds – which is on the heavier side. It is so heavy, it is likely that it will be hard to push.
