Euro Pro Shark EP710 Upright Vacuum Review

October 30, 2009

Euro Pro Shark EP 710

The Euro Pro Shark ep 710 upright vacuum is made by the Euro Pro and Shark Operating company. A small manufacturer with little known presence, but that shouldn’t deter this company from making quality vacuums. Will this Shark ep 710 stand up to the test – we will find out.

Ultimately we couldn’t find a lot about this vacuum as it has been discountined, we were able to find the company’s manual for the ep710. We suspect this vacuum was sold on TV shopping networks, and we think the Shark Navigator succeed this model. We have also found that this vacuum once sold for $99.

Euro-Pro Shark Ep710 Consenus: Do to the small amount of negatives reviews on this discontinued product,  we advise to stay away from this vacuum – as we see no benefit from the purchase ( assuming that you could one to buy).

Rating: ★½☆☆☆

Euro Pro Shark ep 710 Reviews

We found that the review site Epinions has reviews on this vacuum, but no other site has reviews on this vacuum. Most reviews were bad regarding this vacuum saying “ But, here I am fall of 2004 and it has essentially stopped sucking anything up. I’ve replaced the filter and checked the tubes and cleaned out the brush, but even if I place an easy to vacuum object in front of it the Euro-Pro glides right over it without even really moving it. I would recommend if you don’t want to buy a new vacuum every two years to get another model.”

We found one positive review with trust rating, “ I’ve read A LOT of reviews on the Euro-Pro Shark EP710, and the opinions seem split right down the middle. I’m here to tell you if my Shark broke today (I’ve had it for 6 months), I’d run to the store and buy another. I’ve been vacuuming my house every week with a regular Hoover vacuum. I was excited about getting a bag less to cut down on the dust circulating when I vacuum with the bag-vacuum.”

An interesting Note: The reason why we didn’t include some of the 5/5 reviews from the site Epinions is that these reviewers registered in 2004, only reviewed one product and have no trust. Which we may suspect that the reviewers might have been spawned by the Euro-Pro Shark Company, to combat the negative reviews on the site.

I love my Euro-Pro Shark Ep710 . I have had it for about 10 years and it has been fantastic. My only problem is now trying to find replacement filters…..I bought two 3 years ago and am still using. Wash them out as directed and they last for a long time. I’d even like to purchase a good used 710…..if anyone has one, please let me know. Thanks.

SHARK LIFT AWAY VAC..
I already have a Oreck and it sucks up great but dust still gets in the air and it does not have the hand tool attachments and it is noisy. It is light but so is the Shark vac. The rainbow, electolux and others are too heavy.
I just got this vacuum last year. I wanted to try it out before I created a review. I know there are negative reviews but I have to say this is the best vacuum by far.You can pay a lot of money and still have a vacuum that is not perfect.

This vacuum is quiet, easy to handle, sucks up great.
I like the fact that it has a handle which makes it easy to lug up and down stairs. I love how the canister detaches so that I can do my stairs without breaking my back. I can also clean the canister and filter I get no smell or dust when vacuuming. “Mud season is just around the corner.” I like the vacuum overall.
If you want to pay more for a vacuum of equal or lesser abilities go ahead and throw your money away.

Signed very pleased in Maine, Karen
