Starting VacuumCleanersUSA in November of last year, we had no idea we would generate a small user base that we have today. Almost a year old and we want to celebrate by giving our users a chance to win a great handheld vacuum for free.

We know the Holiday season can be stressful and the last thing you want to worry about is cleaning! So one winner will be able to tackle last minute cleaning – just before the relatives arrive.

Giveaway Rules and How to Enter!

Entering is free and anybody can win. Entering is as easy as 1 – 2 – 3 (too cliche?). Please read all the rules on how to enter.

We want to get user input on how they clean their homes, carpets, auto or anything else they own. So by add your own cleaning tip on practically anything you can share your knowledge with our users and possible win a great prize.

Basically:

The tip that you submit will be placed on its own separate page by our editor and it will start receiving traffic. The tip with the most traffic in 20 days — WINS!

We will pick the cleaning tip that you submit which receives the most traffic (raw visits) starting December 1st – December 20th 2009.

For Example: If you write a tip on “How to Clean an Xbox from dust” The content you paste in the comment will be placed on its own page on our site with your credit name.

To be eligible you need to have an email address and a residence to ship the product.

1. Add a short Cleaning Tip.

Below this post is a comment section. Add a cleaning tip, of at least 200 words (there is no word limit), in any general category including: Home, Kitchen, Carpet, Bare Floors, Auto/Truck, Things you Own, Bathroom, etc. Please be concise and helpful.

2. Include your Real Name

This is the name of the person we will thank for the tip and we will send the vacuum if you win.

3. Include your Real E-Mail Address

This is our only method of contact. Include your real e-mail address. If you win we will contact you via email to obtain essential information.

Timeline and Strategy To Win!

• Submit your cleaning tip between October 9th through November 31st 2009. (don’t worry it takes 3-6 minutes)
• Contest Begins on December 1st and ends on December 20th.
• On December 21st we track raw visits to each cleaning tip that entered and we announce a winner! We also ship the vacuum on 21st to the person who had the most visits on their cleaning tip.

Strategy

To get the most raw visits on your cleaning tip we have supplied some tips that can increase your page’s visits.

1. Link to your cleaning page from your blog, website or social profile. This can literally mean the difference between 50 visits and 500 visits; the winner will probably have at least a few links to their tip.

2. Write a topic that is naturally more searched for.

Most users will come from search engines, so by writing about things that a lot of people are searching for will increase your chances!

3. Make the content more useful by spending time to write a longer piece that more people an value.

Quality counts here, the more people who enjoy the tip, the more links it will get (which goes back to number 1).
