Hoover’s Elite Line of vacuum cleaners (Hoover Elite upright bagless) have generally less performance any their previous line of vacuum cleaners, and the Hoover S3825 Elite Cyclonic Bagless Canister Vacuum is no different. Even though the features of a cyclonic and bagless, similar to Dyson vacuums is catching on, the vacuum provides little value.
Hoover S3825 Elite Cyclonic Bagless Canister Vacuum Consensus: The canister vacuum is similar to Dyson’s DC23 on paper, but the poor performance – all around, makes this vacuum too expensive for its price. This isn’t not suitable for a Dyson replacement. The fact that few users recommend this canister is a sign to stay away.

Hoover Elite Cyclonic Bagless Canister S3825 Reviews
User reviews are few and sparse for this vacuum, but they provide a basis for our research on this vacuum. Vacuum Cleaner Ratings suggest the vacuum has a lot of design flaws that the features of this vacuum don’t outweigh.
One positive user review was from the ConsumerReports website, “ …It’s easy to empty the bagless filter, and putting it away is a snap with the retractable cord. I also like having the attachments right on the handle– very quick and easy.” Yet, to see the consumer reports you have to purchase a subscription.
Other reviews have a negative tone, “Conclusion: For the money ($250 range), I would think you could find a vacuum with better reliability. How sad–Hoover used to stand for quality. My parents owned Hoover vacuums that lasted 20 or 30 years; this one didn’t last me two months!”
Users were together when the say the vacuum has a cheap plastic feel and the even one user says the vacuum over heats too often. Yet they were positive on the ease of use – especially when it comes to emptying the canister.
