This Kenmore model earns mostly good reviews, with many making a special point of the handy switch in the handle giving access to two speeds at the flip of a thumb, and the motorized pet hair attachment.
The special stair grip feature and the long cable are also often-mentioned advantages. Two reviewers complained that the motor shorted out on them, but both said they were told this was while trying to disconnect the carpet attachment with the motor still running, something which apparently shouldn’t be done. Most consumers seemed more than happy with their purchase and the majority stated that they would definitely buy the same one again.
