Simplicity Review: Vacuum Cleaners, Bags, Parts, Repair and Company Information

January 3, 2009

Simplicity is a manufacturer of vacuum cleaners and sewing machines. Simplicity goal is to make simplistic vacuum cleaners, that are useful but doesn’t overdue it. They have a very helpful guide called Choosing a Vacuum.

At Simplicity, we’re focused on one thing — building exceptional vacuums. And, as our name implies, we don’t believe that adding gadgets and gizmos is the way to accomplish this goal. Instead, engineers and structural designers scrutinize every detail of our vacuums to ensure each element is the best it can be.

Simplicity Vacuum Cleaner Reviews and Ratings

We have yet to review a Simplicity.

Simplicity Corporate Bio

Simplicity Vacuum Cleaners are a unique brand because the company is one that offers American made vacuum cleaner models. Thus, unlike the foreign links other companies have, this company is domestic, and thus, it is increasing in popularity for those who want American made goods that are reliable and affordable. The models are sold through authorized retailers, and these retailers are who handle customer service for the models they sell. Two of the most popular and best selling models from the Simplicity line are the Simplicity Synergy and the Simplicity 7850 Premier Bagged Canister Vacuum.

I am not very happy with my Simplicity 7000 series vacuum! The belt began to melt and needed changing. I had another one here, so I thought no problem ~ NOT!! I had melting black rubber all over my hands and it was a bear to disassemble. So much for simplistic! Finally, I got the belt off and the new belt semi on and could not force the beater bar back into place, try as I might. I had to end up taking it to a service center and even they had difficulties with it. At least it was fixed, or so I thought. I had emergency surgery and thought I could still vacuum since it’s self propelled ~ wrong again! Somehow, after just a minute or two, it lost that ability and I am only able to use the attachments now. What a downer for a vacuum that cost so much!
